Men want the "IT" bag of the season:
Handbag titan Coach wants to focus on the men.
The accessory company acquired the old Ruehl boutique in the West Village and plans to offer men a line focused on: sunwear, watches, outerwear, fragrance, footwear and small leather goods to name a few.
"We view this store as a laboratory where we can handpick pieces and pilot emerging collections, while offering a more intimate and distinctive shopping experience....Today, we are very much of a women's platform, but this gives us the opportunity to create a much more specific men's aesthetic. That’s the mission,' quips Coach's Mike Tucci.
