Marcs founder, dies at 53.
The Sydney Morning Herald reports the Australian fashion industry was reeling today following the news one of its leading lights Mark Keighery had finally succumbed to cancer after battling the disease for the past nine years.
Mr Keighery died at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital just after 10pm last night, aged 53. He was surrounded by his wife Lisa, sons Jack, 11, and Harry, 8, along with several close friends. It is understood he had been admitted to RPA earlier in the week suffering from an infection which had resulted from recent surgery in the United States.
